Sports Bras

Lisa Lindahl, Hinda Miller, and Polly Smith revolutionized sports for women in 1977 when they created the Jogbra, the first Sports Bra. All 3 are 2022 inductees into the National Inventors Hall of Fame for their share in creating the world's first Sports Bra. Linda Lindahl who ran 30 hours a week while living in Burlington, Vermont couldn't find any garment suitable to support her body while running. Their first prototype was 2 jockstraps sewn together. We've come a long way since then but the basics are still in place with breathable high compression material, soft straps and wide band under the breasts.
