My Althena Story
No, it’s not a typo. As you may know Athena is known as the goddess of Wisdom, Courage, and Peace. She’s also regarded as the goddess of Handicrafts and War. I despise violence, so I choose to interpret this one attribute as the goddess of Strength not War.
In searching for a store name I wanted to stay with Greek goddesses and choose one who represented similar character traits of my own. It didn’t take long to discover every name I liked had been purchased. Why not make up my own or alter one I like. I decided to add an “l” to Athena and create Althena. The “l” symbolizes Love. Althena is everything Athena plus Love. The more love we give, the more peace we find.
